Advise the City Mayor, the Sanggunian and other
city, provincial and national officials regarding the disposition of city funds
and such other matters relative to public finance; |

Take custody and exercise proper management of the
funds of the city; |
| 3. |
Take charge in the disbursement of all city funds
and such other funds the custody of which is entrusted to him by law or other
competent authority; |
| 4. |
Inspect private commercial and industrial establishments
within the city in relation to the implementation of the Local Government Code; |
| 5. |
Take custody of and be accountable for all properties
owned by the city and those granted to it in the form of donation, reparation,
assistance and counterpart of joint projects; |
| 6. |
With the approval of the City Mayor, assign building
or land space to local officials or other public officials who by law are entitled
to such space; |
| 7. |
Recommend to the City Mayor the reasonable rental
rates for local government properties which will be leased public or private entities
by the LGU; |
| 8. |
Maintain and supervise janitorial, security, landscaping
and other related services in all public buildings whether owned or leased by
the city; |
| 9. |
Collate and disseminate information regarding prices,
shipping and other costs of supplies and other items commonly used by the city; |
| 10. |
Perform archival and records management with respect
to records of offices and department of the LGU; |
| 11. |
Perform all other functions pertaining to supply
and property management performed by the Treasurer; |
| 12. |
Be in the frontline of general services related
activities, such as the possible imminent destruction or damage of records, supplies,
properties, and structures and the orderly and sanitary clearing up of waste materials
or debris, particularly during and in the aftermath of man-made and natural calamities
and disasters; |
| 13. |
Recommend to the Sanggunian and advise the mayor
on all other matters relative to general services; |
| 14. |
Exercise such other powers and performs such other
duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinance. |
