Functions |
| 1. |
Investigate and prosecute all criminal cases within
the jurisdiction of the city; |
| 2. |
Act as the legal adviser of the city government
and represent as legal counsel of the city government in all civil cases; |
| 3. |
Renders legal opinion in writing upon request by
the city mayor, heads of departments or the Sanggunian on any question pertaining
to any legal matter; |
| 4. |
Represents government in the prosecution of civil
and tanod bayan cases and acts as deputy of the Solicitor general. |
