Functions |
| 1. |
Perform regular and continuing work activities and
duties provided for by law and other competent authorities; |
| 2. |
Improve services efficiency by procuring necessary
materials or equipment intended for the projects; |
| 3. |
Provide employees with good working condition, better
facilities within the limited financial means in order to alleviate or raise their
standard of living; |
| 4. |
Increase effectiveness of supply procurement by
adhering as such practicable to the annual procurement program of the City Mayor
and discourage the minimum piece meal purchase of supply; |
| 5. |
Require the submission of personnel and employees
discover bottlenecks, unnecessary steps or red tape, etc. in order that the remedial
measures of work simplification methods can be adopted; |
| 6. |
Require other essential equipment necessary for
the repair, improvement, construction, maintenance of all projects under control
and supervision of the City Engineer. |
| 7. |
Undertake other projects for the City of Tagbilaran
authorized by law or other competent authority. |
