Tagbilaran City scholar receives National Award

Proud moment for Tagbilaran City. One of our Tagbilaran City Scholars, Ladie Lyn G. Fuderanan, a Criminology graduate from the University of Bohol, who was chosen as one of the Outstanding Criminology Students in the Philippines last 2014 grabbed another prestigious award as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) for 2016. The awarding ceremonies was held at the Malacañang Palace with the Founder and National Execom himself, Jose Concepcion, Jr. handing out the distinction. The TOSP awards program is considered as the most prestigious award for young role models of the country. It honors the outstanding students of the nation who have personified academic excellence, exemplary leadership, and deep sense of social responsibility, anchored on good moral values. Ms. Fuderanan is just one of the scholars which the City Government has supported. From 60 in 2013, we now have 504 scholars enrolled in the different colleges and universities in Tagbilaran.
