Requesting for Mayor’s Permit (Business)
About the Service
A person who shall establish, operate or conduct any business, trade or activity within the City of Tagbilaran, shall obtain first a Mayor’s Permit and pay the fee before the start of its operation.
In case of a newly started business, a letter of application together with all the requirements is made by the proprietor, address to the City Mayor thru the City Administrator for recommendation and approval.
Application of a newly started business is done after the renewal of business permit from January 1 to 20 every year unless extended by a Resolution of the Sangguniang Panlungsod. An ocular inspection on the location of the business is made.

- Lease Contract – all vendors at City Public market; all who are renting spaces, buildings, lot rented (1 xerox)
- Real Estate Lessor’s Permit – from the owner of the building, spaces, lot rented (1 xerox)
- Certificate of Occupancy – from the City Engineer’s Office, if building is newly constructed or renovated.

Renewing Motorized Tricycle and Motorelas
About the Service
Operators of Motorized Tricycle and Motorelas shall renew their Mayor’s Permit on the first twenty (20) days of January of every year. Failure to secure such permit shall be a ground for automatic revocation of the franchise.
No person shall engage in the operation of a motorized ticycles-for-hire without first securing a franchise from the Sangguniang Panlungsod and a Mayor’s Permit and pay the fees imposed under the City Revenue Code.

Applying for Motorized Tricycle Operator’s Permit (Franchise)
About the Service
No person shall engage in the operation of a motorized tricycle and motorela without first securing “franchise” from the Sangguniang Panlungsod. The applicant shall apply for an Operator’s Permit to the Office of the Permit and License Division and forward the list of persons who applied to the Sangguniang Panlungsod for deliberation and approval..

About the Service
A special permit is issued to any person who desires to engage in special activities such as, selling liquor and other intoxicating beverages after 10:00 o’clock p.m.,; selling liquor and other intoxicating beverages within the 50 lineal meters from school, church, chapel; holding circus or manageric parade or other parade using banners, floats or musical instruments; holding benefit dances and discos; holding religious rallies crusades, and other religious assemblies held in public places; ;going around the city to make announcements, advertisements with the use of sound systems and the like; sponsoring or holding basketball exhibitions; holding parade, motorcade; holding fashion/variety shows; transport of animals, fishery products; solicitation; excavation; cock fighting; promotion of business or industrial products, etc. and shall be collected a special permit fees.
